As a person with dyslexia, using written and verbal words was never something I felt confident with. Imagery has always made that easier for me.

I started my academic art career at a high school in Glasgow, getting an A in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher exams. This led me to studying Contemporary Art Practice at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen.
As far as media go, I like to create with a variety of different techniques.
I have done works in acrylic paint, coloured pencil, fine line pen, screen print, collage, videography and photography.
Academically I work mostly with tonal drawing using the fine line pen, videography and photography.

In my own individual practice I tend to look at themes of Emotion and the mental state through ancient Greek mythological references. Currently I am doing research into Narcissism, creating my own mythological deity to personify it.
In the past I had done research on dyslexia and how to create imagery that represented it.
Professionally, I have done a few different commission based works.
I've worked for organisations such as Drumchapel L.I.F.E, to create artwork for its Phoenix centre, located in Glasgow.
I have also done private commissions for people's homes or as gifts to their loved ones.
